Taking a Break in Cambria, California

We had dinner at the Sow's Ear in Cambria, in the Central Coast of California. It's a good restaurant to go to if you're in the area. The filet mignon with lobster sauce and the chicken fried steak were good. I love the bread in a flower pot!

The pictures of oil fields were taken near San Luis Obispo on our way to Cambria. Many people don't know that California has many oil fields, ranking California fourth in US production after Texas, North Dakota, and Alaska.  In fact, this July 4, 2014 article says the the US will remain the biggest oil producer in the world after overtaking Saudi Arabia and Russia.

Interesting, isn't it?
