#Authors Randy Ribay and Eliza Victoria in HOT OFF THE PRESS Literary Readings Oct 7 & 8, 2017 #FilAm Book Fest

FEATURED AUTHORS:

Here are two more authors who'll be participating  in the HOT OFF THE PRESS Literary Readings in San Francisco on October 7 and 8, 2017.  These readings are part of the Filipino American International Book Festival. They will be held at the San Francisco Main Library at 100 Larkin Street, Civic Center, San Francisco, CA 94102.

Randy Ribay will be reading from After the Shot Drops (HMH Books for Young Reader 2018).









Randy Ribay is the author of  the young adults books, An Infinite Number of Parallel Universes (Simon Pulse 2015) and After the Shot Drops.

Randy Ribay was born in the Philippines and raised in Michigan and Colorado. He holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Ed.M. in Language & Literacy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. After a decade on the East Coast, Randy now lives in the SF Bay Area with his wife and two dog-children, where he teaches high school English.














Eliza Victoria will be reading from the fantasy/mystery Dwellers (Visprint 2014)

                                                           













Eliza Victoria is the author of several books including the Philippine National Book Award-winning Dwellers (Visprint 2014) and the graphic novel After Lambana (2016, a collaboration with Mervin Malonzo). Her fiction and poetry have appeared in several online and print publications and have won the Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature, the Philippines Free Press Literary Awards, among others. She was a Writing Fellow at the 54th UP National Writers Workshop, a Guest Panelist at the 54th Silliman University National Writers Workshop, and a Panelist in the inaugural Amelia LapeƱa-Bonifacio Writers Workshop.
