Here are two more authors who'll be participating in the HOT OFF THE PRESS Literary Readings in San Francisco on October 7 and 8, 2017. These readings are part of the Filipino American International Book Festival. They will be held at the San Francisco Main Library at 100 Larkin Street, Civic Center, San Francisco, CA 94102.

M. Evelina Galang will be reading from
Lolas' House: Filipino Women Living with War (Northwestern University Press 2017).
M. Evelina Galang is the author of several books including Lolas' House: Filipino Women Living with War (Northwestern University Press 2017). In Lolas' House, Galang tells the stories of sixteen surviving Filipino "comfort women." Lolas' House, a book of testimony and documentation, is a book of witness, of survival, and of the female body. Intensely personal and globally political, it is the legacy of Lolas' House to the world.
Galang teaches in and directs the Creative Writing Program at the University of Miami, and is core faculty and board member for Voices of our Nation Arts Foundation.
Rachelle Cruz will be reading from God's Will for Monsters (Inlandia 2017).
Rachelle Cruz is the author of God's Will for Monsters (Inlandia 2017), which won the 2016 Hillary Gravendyk Regional Poetry Prize. She also wrote Self-Portrait as Rumor and Blood (Dancing Girls Press 2012) and co-edited with Melissa Sipin Kuwento: Lost Things, An Anthology of Philippine Myths (Carayan Press 2015). Rachelle's work has appeared in As/Us, New California Writing 2013, LARB, Yellow Medicine Review, Jet Fuel Review, The Lit Pub, The Bakery, The Collagist, Bone Bouquet, PANK, among others. She hosts the Blood-Jet Writing Hour. She received the Manuel G. Flores Scholarship from PAWA. An Emerging Voices Fellow, a Kundiman Fello, and a VONA writer, she lives, writes, and teaches in Southern California.
