Typhoon Haiyan - Fundraisers for the Victims of Typhoon Haiyan or Yolanda

I'm passing on this information regarding some benefits/fundraisers for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan or Yolanda. I will continue to add to this list, so check back:

LBC Cargo is offering free shipping of donations for Haiyan victims until 11/30/13. They will not ship to specific groups or individuals. Non-perishable food, meds, etc. contact your local LBC office.

Filipino Bar Association of Northern California is asking for donations of canned food, baby food, medicine, rice, bottled water, other non-perishable goods, drop off at West Bay Pilipino Multi-Service Center, 175 7th St., San Francisco, from 9 a.m. to 5 pm starting on November 11

The Institute of International Education  announces Emergency Fund for Filipino students studying in the US:

Grants of $3,000 will help support Filipino students studying in the U.S. with urgent financial needs due to the impact of typhoon Haiyan.
