Rainy August Thursday in Montreal, by Cecilia Brainard

 

 Oh, no!  It rained in Montreal.  I had no idea it would rain in August! It never rains in California in August.  The wet stuff kept us from visiting the Botanical Garden, which was scheduled today.

We had to postponed our trip to the Gardens until the weather is better.  What we did instead was have dim sum in Chinatown, and we went shopping in the Underground City.  (Shopping is always a good alternative!)

Lobster tonight for dinner! And the appetizer is figs with cheese and prosciutto. Yum-yum-yum!

Coming up -- a trip to some other part of Quebec Province this weekend, and we still have to make that trip to the Botanical Gardens.
